Welcome to Mrs. Schneider's 2B Superstars!
Mrs. Sliz, Mrs. Rogers, Mrs. Moncada and I will be joining hundreds of other individuals who will run, skip, dance or walk to benefit Kids in Distress at Vista View Park in support of a great cause: the prevention of child abuse, the preservation of the family, and the treatment of those who have been abused or neglected. As teachers we want our students to understand that they can make a difference in our community. This will be a morning of fun, friends, some physical activity and most importantly helping others. Please join us and the St Gregory family make this event a success! The run is Saturday, January 26th at 8:00 am and we will take a team picture between 7:30-7:45 am!
Our commitment to the KID Hero 5K is not only physical; it is a whole-hearted commitment to support the community in which we live. We have set a goal to help raise funds because we believe in KID and the positive impact of their programs. Your financial support to our KID Hero 5K Page will go directly to fund programs such as foster care, therapy, education, and intervention for families who need help. Please consider making your donation today.
Thank you so much for joining us! Together we can make a difference!
Mrs. Sliz, Mrs. Rogers, Mrs. Moncada and Mrs. Schneider
KID is a licensed nationally accredited agency working for the prevention of child abuse, preservation of the family, and the care and treatment of abused and neglected children. KID services helped more than 10,000 children and families last year through signature programs such as KID Prevention, Foster Care, Preschool, Family Counseling Clinic, and more. The organization is constantly growing and learning to better meet the needs of the South Florida community: for example the KID Dental Health Center and NSU’s Eye Care Institute at KID in 2011, launching HEART in 2012, and opening the KID Family Foster Homes in 2013.
