I have chosen to become an Ambassador for one of South Florida’s most ‘quacktastic’ events for one great mission: the prevention of child abuse, the preservation of the family, and the treatment of those who have been abused and/or neglected.

My commitment to the KID Duck Fest Derby is much deeper than my love for rubber ducks; it is a whole-hearted commitment to support the community in which I live. Kids In Distress (KID) is a licensed nationally accredited agency working for prevention of child abuse, preservation of the family, and care and treatment of abused and neglected children. KID services helped more than 11,000 children and families last year through programs that focus on prevention, intervention, foster care, education, and family counseling. KID partners with corporations, organizations, municipalities, schools, and individuals to support its mission and expand services throughout South Florida.
